The Project Manager will work with clients, sales, and manufacturing to ensure job due dates for Amsive customers are met in a timely manner.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Serve as primary contact and source of information on particular jobs for sales, management, production personnel and customers.
  2. Understand the customer’s needs and listen for any opportunity to sell new services to a current customer.
  3. Problem solves, gather information as needed for the highest quality product consistent with customer’s requirements.
  4. Plan every stage in production of a job.
  5. Confirm quality of the project / data complies with requirements prior to going into production.
  6. Take job specs from sales representative or customer, logging in request for estimate.
  7. Communicate estimates to sales rep or customer.
  8. Initiate each job jacket and job ticket, open and track each job through production and communications problems and changes to plant personnel, customers, and owner.
  9. Record job specifications, request quotes when necessary.
  10. Keep accurate records on all jobs and customer contacts.
  11. Inspect proofs and send to customers. Set up press check with customer if wanted
  12. Monitor and manage inventory in the warehouse for daily mailings
  13. Prepare monthly print jobs for billing
  14. Monitor and manage postage funds
  15. Participate in weekly client calls
  16. Attend daily production meeting
  17. Other duties assigned to you by your supervisor

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2-5 years Project Management experience in the Print Industry
  • Skilled in organizational development, personnel management, resource development, and strategic planning.
  • Demonstrated team player.
  • Excellent people skills, with an ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team.
  • Possess personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to corporate mission.
  • Flexible and able to multitask; can work with an ambiguous, fast-moving environment, while also driving toward clarity and solutions; demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities and guiding investment in people and systems.
  • Proven ability to be effective at all things tactical as well as strategic.

The Project Manager position reports directly to the SVP/Operations and Director of Operations, Project Management

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. 

Body Positions: Frequently required to stand, walk and sit.

Body Movements: The employee must have a full range of body movements including the use of hands & fingers to handle or feel objects, bending, reaching with hands and arms, and crouching.

 Body Senses: Must have command of the following senses: sight, hearing and touch.  Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, distant vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus. Must be able to distinguish minor color variations.

Strength: Occasionally must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position will spend most of the time working in a professional office environment but may occasionally be required to spend time in production area that is relatively loud. This position regularly requires long hours and occasional weekend work.
