Overall ResponsibilityProvide leadership to assigned shift/crew by implementing best in class manufacturing systems, practices, procedures, and policies.


  • Manage performance, including annual evaluations, goal setting, performance improvement plans, and progressive disciplinary measures
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and organized work environment – own these areas
  • High accountability for respectful communication at all times
  • Seamless handoff to Production Managers on all shifts
  • Change agent
  • Meet with the Chief Operating Officer to establish priorities and demands pertaining to work flow, employees and equipment
  • Schedule and supervise all employees in the department
  • Review and relay job requirements with employees, including expediting product out the door
  • Set up materials and equipment for most efficient production
  • Train and supervise employees on equipment
  • Report and maintain records including time, counts, supplies, inventory, repair and maintenance on equipment
  • Solicit management approval on all changes or deviations from the original work order as quickly as possible to ensure continued production without jeopardizing the order


  • Five plus years of strong people management and leadership experience
  • Must have a print background and familiarity with Prisma and Emtex servers, and continuous and cutsheet printers
  • Knowledge of 5S/Lean manufacturing principles
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of an organization in a collaborative and respectful manner
  • Highest standards of accuracy and precision
  • Highly organized
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to think creatively, highly driven and self motivated
  • Demonstrated ability to roll up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on management capacity
  • Manage and communicate KPI or Operations Dashboard


Bachelor’s Degree preferred from an accredited university or college, or demonstrated years of experience in the function

Security Clearance:  Amsive is Federal Contractor, and this position may require government security clearance for certain projects.
